On Saturday, April 21st, the group will ride from Carpinteria to Downtown Santa Barbara. All participants should be able to ride a bike safely with the ability to brake, change gears, and balance while stopping and starting at all traffic signals. Community Bike Rides are no-drop rides meaning that every participant respects traffic laws and nobody is left behind during the one hour ride.

Pre-register on SBBIKE website so your leaders know how many participants to expect.

Christine,

I haven't been on a bike in years. I am going to try and get in shape for this ride. I would love to be an active rider, I just need a bike.

If you know of anyone selling a small frame mountain bike with front shocks, I am interested.

Thank you for organizing this event,

Jennifer Grayson

Hi Jennifer,

Come by Bici Centro, the DYI community bike shop located at 434 Olive St. in SB. http://www.sbbike.org/bicicentro

We might have an affordable MTB that fits you.

Looking forward to riding with you on the 21st.

Christine
