Bike Challenge Lunch and Awards Ceremony

Celebration and recognition of winning teams and businesses, at Goleta City Hall.

All Bike Challenge participants are invited, as well as the public to help celebrate the Bike Challenge achievements with free lunch, awards, live music by Sidewalk Affair, and prize drawings. (And we promise the lunch line won't be long!) The event is from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM, so bike, carpool or bus there with your coworkers and teammates for some fun times. Prize drawings are at 12 and awards at 12:30.

We'll even have the Big Orange Bike BOB there for teams to take for a spin.

Traffic Solutions is honored to have Goleta City Councilmembers join us to recognize the winning employers and winning teams and present the giant checks to our four charities. The Awards Ceremony will feature the presentation of the following at 12:30PM:

• Hand-made trophy for the 1st place Bike Challenge team
• Medals for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place Bike Challenge teams
• Recognition for 4th to 10th place Bike Challenge teams
• Five certificates for the 1st place companies in five size categories
• Giant checks for the four nonprofit program beneficiaries - iCan Shine, Food Bank of Santa Barbara County, SB Bike's Connecting Our Community, and SB Open Streets by COAST

Prizes drawing details: 

• Announcement of winners begins at 12:00PM 
• Prizes are for Bike Challenge participants only
• You do not have to be present to win, but it's more fun if you are 
• You get one entry for each day you logged a bike trip in May
• The grand prize is a Trek 7.4 FX hybrid bike from Bicycle Bob's
• Additional prizes include a Sonos PLAY:3 and BRIDGE - wireless HiFi sound system, gift cards and gear from our CycleMAYnia sponsors.
