Choose between 2 scenic routes, a 5-mile bluffs trail ride suitable for families or a 15-mile moderate road ride. Maps will be provided to participants and markers will be on the routes. Participants may start the ride anytime between 9 and 9:30 am and should pace themselves to finish between 11 am and noon to enjoy a delicious brunch and prize give-away.
Ride Option 1*: an easy 5-mile ride on bluffs trails and quiet area roads. Points of interest will be marked (seal rookery, world’s largest Torrey Pine, salt marsh, Tomal park play area, etc.) so that riders may stop and enjoy some of Carpinteria’s highlights.
Ride Option 2: a 15-mile road route through the Carpinteria foothills and Gobernador canyon area. Moderate elevation gain (~500 ft).
*recommended for those riding with children (children must wear a helmet and be accompanied by an adult).
Pre-registration of $5 is required because this event includes brunch and prize giveaways. Register here.
